Early Years
Tyler's journey began in a quaint Louisiana town, where he was welcomed into a loving, working-class family. His father, a dedicated farmer and small business owner, worked tirelessly to provide for the family, while his mother managed a thriving agriculture supply company. Despite their hard work, opportunities were often scarce in their small community, prompting Tyler's father to make a life-changing decision.

In pursuit of a brighter future for his family, Tyler's father accepted a job offer in Durango, Colorado, a place of enchanting landscapes and thrilling adventures. It was in the embrace of the majestic Rocky Mountains that Tyler's young heart was forever captivated by the allure of the great outdoors. His early experiences in Colorado instilled in him a profound love for the mountains and a passion for exploration.

After a few years in the high-altitude haven, Tyler's family returned to their roots in Louisiana, reuniting with their extended family. Yet, the spark of curiosity and a yearning for more in life remained firmly kindled within Tyler. Growing up in a humble, lower-class farming community, he couldn't help but feel that there was a vast world beyond the horizon, teeming with unexplored opportunities and untapped potential.

Military Life
Tyler's journey is a remarkable fusion of military service and political engagement, and his story is a testament to his unwavering commitment to both his country and community.

Recognizing the limited opportunities available in rural Louisiana, Tyler chose to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, a military veteran. Right after high school graduation, he enlisted in the US Air Force and embarked on an inspiring journey as an avionics technician for the B-52H bomber aircraft. During his active-duty service, Tyler exhibited exceptional dedication, seizing every opportunity to network among the nation's leaders and secretaries of various departments in the nation's capital. His thirst for knowledge and desire to make a difference were evident from the beginning.

While stationed far from the mountains he had grown to love, Tyler's heart remained in Colorado. He made annual trips to the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, a symbol of his unwavering aspiration to return to the breathtaking landscapes he cherished. Despite receiving multiple nominations from Air Force generals and Congressmembers, Tyler's competitive spirit didn't earn him a spot at the academy. Undeterred by this setback, he decided to chart a new course, relocating to Tampa, Florida, where he pursued his bachelor's degree in Finance.

Tyler's dedication to serving his country and community never wavered. In Tampa, he joined the Air Force Reserves as an In-Flight Refueling Technician, actively participating in missions that included Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and contributing to President Biden's mission into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His efforts extended even further, offering support during the war in Ukraine.
Community Involvement
Tyler's involvement in the community was equally commendable. When not on active military duty, he dedicated his time to community outreach initiatives in Tampa, contributing to the coordination of the AirFest airshow and supporting the Sun n Fun airshow. It was during this time that Tyler's passion for politics was ignited, as he actively participated in the mayoral election, igniting his interest in public service.

Motivated by his experiences and a desire to create positive change, Tyler became a liaison for LGBTQ military members and veterans with the Modern Military Association of America. This pivotal role allowed him to advocate for inclusivity and equality within the military, a cause close to his heart.

Tyler's journey from a determined young high school graduate to a dedicated military professional and community leader is a story of perseverance, dedication, and a resolute commitment to creating a better future for his country and its citizens. His passion for both military service and political engagement has driven him to seek new opportunities and overcome challenges, all in the pursuit of a stronger, more inclusive America.
